depends on where you buy your pizza... speaking of size though, when i went to mcdonald's in boston i ordered my usual big mac meal supersized.. and was appalled at the TUB of coke and fries that i got... apparently canadian supersized is only large there. the fries tasted weird too.
i'm bored... let's look up pizza sizes
at domino's:
medium whole pizza is 12"
and large is 14"
at pizza slut they don't say the size
pizzapizza only gives number of slices: xl is 12 slices
I'm frankly shocked to hear they have something as Modern as Pizza in Europe...
The best place to get those Huge slices is at a place that has a real Pizza oven. NY style pizza is the name for the Huge wide pies over 18"...
Most of the chains use those conveyer POS ovens that restrict size.
Speaking of Boston Sal, Pizzaria Regina is a Boston based chain down here that has the real stuff.
Pizza baked in a huge Oven where the pie actually sits on the oven brick bottom and get crunchy and kinda burned like..
pizza also varies by location. if you go up north, like nj/ny you will get the best *REAL* pizza. come down south, it's all fucking dominoes and papa johns. go out west, like chicago, and it's all about thin crust.

Domino's and Papa John's pizza...larges are 14". You can papa size your pizza to 18" I think for just $2.
I love a little place around here..."Pizza by the Pound." I get the 8lb pizza with Meatballs. Talk about a serious pizza...2 slices and I am down for the count...but a meatball is somewhere between golf ball and tennis ball size.
Captain's!! I forgot all about that place!!!! We used to get pizza from them all the time when my friends and I would stay in OC. I remember it was really cheap!!!
