Question About Acts Of War

By the president calling this an ACT OF WAR, isn't it true that the peoples families will not recieve any life Insurance from there Insurance companies. I know the government will give some money to these people but I would imagine that a lot of the men and woman killed in this terrerable tragity had million dollar plus life insurance policies that will probably be null and void.

Congress has declared the terrorist attacks as an acy of war for military reasons...it changes all rules and regulations pertaining to combat retaliation. As for life insurance claims, there are numerous clauses that include such an event. "Accidental Death" will be a major consideration due to the fact that having an airplane run into your office building is out of the norm. Even if the ever-plentiful insurance companies (who include over 70 of the fortune 100 companies) can escape payments...congress has authorized billions of dollars in emergency funding to bring resolve to the tragedy bestowed upon our nation this week.

I saw on msnbc last night the CHubb group is not invoking the acts of war clause and is going to pay any and all liability claims for insurances.

I heard that the airlines were also going to give each of the passengers families $25,000. This of course is nothing compare to the lost of life. Unfortunatley, many of the families will probably file law suits against the airlines, even though it isn't entirely their fault.
