Ok she just started working at the gym. She has been goign there a while and i would always notice her peaking at me while i was working. well we worked together two straight days and i am pretty sure she likes me.

she told me she was single and throughout the two days of conversation has said, "man i haven't been out in a while", "I am looking for a hot single guy around 19-20 yrs old" and "when will i see you again?"

when she said the thing about the 19-20 yr old guy it really threw me a curve ball, she is 19 and i am 23, so i mean why would she say that? i woulda defly just said, "well maybe you and i should hang out?"., but by saying the age i really didn't know what to say.

so here's the deal... tomorrow i am gonna go to the gym and just be like, "hey when r u free this week? why don't you go with me to see the fast and the furious 2 cuz i wanna go see it and none of my friends do"

sound like a good plan??? that way if she says no it won't look like i asked her out.

I moved on a cute chickie last night that I'd been getting all sorts of signals from... and got shot down. It was more of a hookup type of proposition than a "Hey, would you like to go out sometime?" type of deal, though. It was kind of refreshing, actually, just because I knew that at least I had tried. Hell, I wasn't even embarrassed- I figured it was more her bad than mine, because she was the one walking the walk, but I was more willing to talk the talk.

So ask her out man, and if she turns you down it's her fucking fault for advertising to you in what anybody would consider an obvious fashion, but than shooting you down when you made a move.
 
When a chick says 'i haven't been out in a while' and 'i'm looking for a single hot guy', i don't think she has fast and furious 2 on her mind.

She's always coming up, giving big hugs and holding in close for longer than normal "Mmmm...I could do this all night", and shit. Comes up and feels my arm and comments on how big they are while gazing at me. Than last night she comes up and gives a hug- I keep my arm around her and vice-versa- she says how cold she is- I say yeah it's the kind of night where you need someone to keep you warm- she looks at me and says, "Yeah, but I don't have anybody like that" *sigh*- I say well if you ever want someone to keep you warm, you should get ahold of me. Then she says, "Oh, I think you'd be disappointed...I'm a nice girl."

LOL...what the fuck? Talk about a bait-and-switch. She'd been acting like this for months. I just said, "Hey, that's cool. Bla bla bla." Smiled and kept on carding people. :)

Most girls don't want to be asked out so obviously.

Play it cool. Tell her you want to meet her for coffee sometime, or she should accompany you to a club you are already going to, but aren't sure when. Don't give her the priviledge of a "date" or your important time. Let her suggest a time.

If you get shot down, you won't look bad. But she probably won't shoot you down if you execute it properly.

I would consider is the blatant hook-up approach. But I guess it's better to play it safe with a 19-20 year old that hasn't given any major signals.

And about age. Why is Duritz even thinking of age --- it doesn't matter.
 
Why spend important time and funds? Just ask her is she wants to spend the night. If she says yes, you prolly get laid and it is about free. If she says no.....well then you won't feel bad because you knew this was a ballsy question.

This worked for me when velvett was in Colorado.

well i saw finding nemo already and don't really know what's in the theatres that i would want to see.. i am really saying it like i want to see it and need someone to go with... she's 19... she'd prolly like a movie like this... i don't want to say..."hey you wanna see a movie?" and then not know which one... i figure i have a plan and just need a friend to accompany me

the whole asking me if i knew any who was 19-20 threw me off though... like why not ask me anyone who is around my age?? and why even ask me if i know anyone?? why not just say... i am looking for a guy between 19-25 and just describe my qualities... it would have made it a lot less twisted... like would u go up to a girl u like and ask her if she knows any hot chicks for u to hook up with??

problem is she's 19... can't go to any clubs with me... and i asked her what she does for fun and she said, "i hang out at my girlfriends apartment"

didn't give me much to work with
 
i don't think anything i say should fucking matter honestly... if the girl digs me i could say,"hey you want to go to the booger eating rodeo?" and if she's into me she should just say yes.. if the girl is too cool to go see a movie then i don't want to be with her anyway. i'm a catch so fuck her

ok i went to the gym to work out while she was there... we were talkin for like an hour and i asked her what she was doing tomorrow, she said nothing and i said, well we should hang out then. she immediatley replied with an OK and said, "what time should i call you?" i told her around 4 and then that was it. so i'm in :)

That's roughly the order of events that I'd shoot for if I were you. :D

Coffee is a tried and true casual thing that's cheap, casual, acceptable for the middle of the week, and the stimulant effects encourage conversation. :)

Or you could take her catfishing. Tell her that if she's sqeamish about handling cut bait and raw chicken livers, then she's not the one for you anyway. :elephant:
