Quantum supercomputer to fire up Tuesday

They've designed a supercooled quantum computer. That means it can represent 1 and 0 at the same time, increasing processing speed over current supercomputers! Here's the abc news article:

Other than achieving temperatures closer to 0K, I'm not sure how they would make a quantum computer much faster...

Agreed. Unfortunately the software will probably be holding us back for a long long time wouldn't you agree? I can understand the main points of the theory behind building the machine, but the code... errors on a quantum level... ouch
