I doubt anyone wants to talk about top quarks and the stumper for me - the division of time and space dimensions on altered plains. Ah forget it... If I haven't gotten it by now - chances are I never will.

Yep, pretty much.....



Quarks are pretty much fundamental matter particles that are constituents of neutrons and protons and other hadrons. There are six different types of quarks or flavors.

Shrebly, as far as Quark vs. Gluon Confinement all I really remember is the basics of Quantum chromodynamics (QCD), which is the field theory in which quarks interact through a "colour" force carried by gluons. From what I remember, in chromodynamics, a string-like "flux tube" forms between distant static "colour" charges. This leads to quark confinement - the potential energy between a quark and the other quarks to which it is tied increases linearly with the distance between them. Of course, it is a bit more "deep" than that.....
