quad shots???? need some help

hey guys

i just shot in my quad fot the second time went well just wondering if im doing it correctly

i do exactly what they do in the pic at spot injections i use a 23 g 1 inch and put it in 70 to 80 percent of the way asp then inject extremely slowly (now since i have problems in the glute) for the most part is the the right needle and depth for the shot

sounds good but you can probably stick it in all the way.

1" in the quad is no problem.

I use a 22 guage 1 1/2 inch in the quads and I am fine. Than again I am 260 lbs, but it all depends on what you're comfortable using.

im 6'6 and 240 so i dont know if my quad is thick enough for a 1.5 inch

definately put the pin all the way in, it's only 1 inch, and if your that big u should have no problems what so ever...good luck bro!!!

once i get it in 80% i start to feel pain.......am i supposed to suck it up and go deeper..........or am i supposed to not feel anything at all.......so i settle and pump at 80% in

the only pain i ever feel is getting that bitch through the skin, once it's through the skin, u should be golden. is your procedure correct? if u don't go all the way in, there's more of a chance your moving the needle all over the place in your leg, and that's no fun, your leg will hurt like a mofo for the next 2 days!!!

yea with a 1 inch you should beable and aiming to go all the way in, IMO.
if you feeling any pain it could be a build up of scar tissue if you have injected many times in that spot before, or damaged the area.
Other than that it could be that you had touched a nerve or got close to one with your pin, i say touched, and not hit as if you had hit it you would have known about it, believe me!

Try moving your shot to an inch either side.

I have never done a quad injection, only because i have never had a problem with the glutes. Are there any risks with injecting in the quad? for example, if I was to use a 1.5" pin and went in too far?

i never even noticed on the picture that it is not in all the way. i usually bury that fucker and i dont have big thighs by any means. no problems.

p.s. i use 1" x 23 g

There is an artery that runs through your quad so you should not use a 1 1/2 inch needle. That is too long, and you risk hitting the artery

i use 25G 1"...you don't have to burry the needle unless you're a fat fucker. You skin is only so thick. Ask spidey about it. He'll tell you in detail.

Here's my advice: don't every bury your needle ANYWHERE. What if something goes wrong and it breaks off? How are you going to fish it out?
