quad injections

Better to do while quad is flexed (leg straight out)or extended Sitting in chair with feet on ground)? I say flexed. Less painful and probably less scarring of tissue. Any comments?

I would do it unflexed and about 1" needle

Unflexed. You don't want your leg to be hard when you are trying to stick a needle in it. 1-1.5 inches is good.

NEVER go all the way in, one of my boys broke off a needle once when he went all the way in, it was nasty gettin that thing out

of course. Oh, and I use a 25g, 5/8" needle as my quads don't have much fat on them.

I sit on the floor with my legs straight out in front of me. I always inject with my quad relaxed. It hurts like hell if my quad is tensed at all. I use 23g 1.5", but only use 1" of the pin.
