Did my state taxes online back in March or April.....got notice that I was due a refund....cool!!

Got a notice on 6/12 that I made an error & now OWE money...ok fine....mailed out the check on 6/13......well TODAY I got a notice that my $$$ owed is overdue & I've been assessed penalties.....ummmmmmm WTF??

Pwned!!

that sucks.
a few years ago i discovered i owe thousands. I didn't have it all and had to go on a payment plan. it was actually not bad- they didn't rape me for interest.
jen- you should call... sometimes you get someone on the phone that helps a lot.

I did call.......the call is even funnier than the notice I got saying I'm delinquent after 3 days......she told me on the phone that the taxes were due in April.....So I said to her...."Why would I PAY you taxes in April when, by my calculations, I was due a REFUND?? I just got notice of the error & the $$ owed 4 days ago & mailed the check out the very next day."

She transferred me to some other person & I left a voicemail.....Watch, I'll get another notice Monday.....
