Dude, how do you get Sponge Bob in HD? I get the other channels but not SB. Fuck! Hook a brother up. I have cable TV, maybe yours is satellite.
I got a million recordings on DVR for the kids. They're growing up thinking everything is on demand. That's not good. lol My daughter says "Rewind that daddy" or "FF through this commercial..." wtf?

Serious question... Do you use the Dolby Pro logic for surround sound or is it a true DD surround for that show? or Maybe you use the receiver's settings to make it SS? thanks

Actually I do have satellite, switched just for the HD channel options, but now am seeing that cable has got some interesting HD programming on the horizon......I'll never win.gonelifting said:
I use pro logic and other settings for the "episodes" or burned "episodes" but the dvd of the Spongebob Movie is in true Dolby Digital 5.1.
However, as far as the HD goes, until this whole Blue Ray/HDDVD thing gets close to some type of end point, I bought a dvd recorder with 1080p upconversion and internal 160GB HDD, this even upconverts burned dvds to HD 1080p.

I was thinking of getting Verizon Fios for internet/TV/Phone but I' hesitant because of the lack of programming they have.
I think Satellite still has the most HD channels... I think. I'm pretty happy with cable, but they and satellite are killing the HD quality they're putting out. Fios is not doing that. They just need more channels. I think they have 22 or something. Not sure if that's a lot or not. It might include the HBO HD MAX HD etc... then it wouldn't be a lot.
I see, SB on DVD would be in DD 5.1 I was wondering about the actual TV channel. They are, like you mentioned, dolby pro logic.
I love watching movies with the SS but with the kids asleep in the house, it's tough to crank the sound. Leaving the kids outside doesn't work either. Animals try and eat them as they sleep. Fucking racoons!
