Putting people down

I've got a real jerk working for me. He's constantly putting people down. He attends Charts and Graphs University part time and his specialty is telling co-workers that theyr'e stupid because they didn't go to college. I've already intervened twice to keep him from being punched-out. To be honest, I wish I hadn't. Should I just fire this guy.

You are the only one that can answer that question, especially if you have the authority to terminate his employment, sounds to me that he is more of a negative than positive, any negative in my life gets terminated with the quickness. peace and good luck with your decision.
