My wife has this problem. She gets cold very easily, her hands are ice cold while sitting in a normal temp room and her fingernails would be purple. The doc says it may be low Iron or some other stuff. They never figured it out.

Yes, anytime I miss a nail and hit my finger.

Could be a condition called "Raynaud's Phenomenon". Which is characterized by poor circulation caused by spasms of the arteries.
