Pure maple a good post-workout carb?

I've been putting pure maple syrup into my post-workout protein shakes. Should I be steered away from this practice or is it a good (enough) simple carb?

I ask because anything that tastes this good probably can't be beneficial. :D
 
use sugar.... there are actually more calories / sweetness in honey/syrup than there are in pure sugars.
 
I think fructose only refills liver glycogen not muscle glycogen, so it would be a bad choice post workout....
