pulled groin muscle

im in the middle of my cycle and this weekend i pulled groin muscle its purple and really swollen.has any1 hurt this area before and is it a good idea to not workout untill it heals i know no leg workouts but what about everything else.
 
shit bro.....purple means that there is blood, meaning a teared muscle.........get rest and if you can see your Dr.........
 
all i have to say is ouch!!! and if it is teared like he suggests then rest isnt gonna help you need to see a doc and fix the problem....
 
oouch! I had pulled groin muscles several times over the years on the leg press or squating but if you have a tear that's a different story. go see a sports medecine doctor asap.
 
I pulled my groin a few years ago. F'n excruciating pain! It took almost a year to heal up. You can still work out, you just can't flex your abs hard (which sucks because your abs are supposed to be kept tight while lifting). How did you do it?

friday playing football in the rain 1 slip not even a big slip didnt even think about it. after the game when i got home the pain was so fucking bad and the muscle had a knot in it .the next morn it was purple.. thanks bros
