PS2 Question

Does anyone else's ps2 Scratch some of their games....Mine has etched two copies of madden 2002..?

Weird, I haven't noticed that at all with ours. My rabbits will eat an entire instruction book though if you drop it on the floor.

Hey is 2002 any better than 2001? I didn't really like the 2001 game... players moved slow, couldn't tackle for shit... didn't really feel like you were in control of the game.

I got Grand Auto Theft 3 at the same time... what a fucking kickass game.

I just love the franchise mode on 2002...you can upload the draft class from ncaa2002 and draft...I love shit like that. As far as how it compares to 2001 I couldn't tell you as I bought the ps2 with 2002 and never got to play the earlier version.

Grand theft Auto 3 is Fucking Great...I usually stick to sports games..But man that game is off the hook...!

I noticed a scratch on my Smackdown 3 disc. One of my friends left it out of it's case and none of my other games have a scratch, so I'm assuming it wasn't because of the PS2.

GTA3 is awesome.

I doubt its the system...CD's get scratches when played....it just happens....besides who cares really the only games you really have to worry about getting scratches are:

Devil May Cry
GT3
MGS3

I have read that if you use your PS2 in a verticle position and then switch it to horizontal...or vice a versa, it will scratch disks. I guess the plastic inside molds into one position and then is plays different if it is at a different angle. So I would try and take it back and then just use it in one position. That's just what i've heard. Iron

All of the scratching problems are from users who stand the console on it's side.

Just keep it horizontal.

someone was close... you are supposed to use the system in the upright position... kinda like a computer tower... otherwise your games will end up fucked AND the lens will burn out and that will cost you exactly 299.00 for a new system...

nfl2k2 by sega... still very iffy at best.. too easy to run and too hard to stop the run.

i am curious about nfl gameday 2002 for it though... i mean, don is on the cover!!

Sony NZ says that it is caused by switching the console from vertical to horizontal (or vice-versa)while a disc is running.
