Proviron-What is it used for?

I know this might sound like a dumb question,but what exactly is it used for. All I know is it's an anti-estrogen. I've seen it for sale,but I've never seen anyone recommend it or use. Also,how would you use it during a cycle?-THE PROTOTYPE

Proviron is a synthetic, orally effective androgen which does not have any anabolic characteristics. Proviron is used in school medicine to ease or cure disturbances eaused by a deficiency of male sex hormones. Many athletes, for this reason, often use Proviron at the end of a steroid treatment in order to increase the reduced testosterone production. This, however is not a good idea since Proviron has no effect on the body's own testosterone production

Ok, cat, if it doesn't raise natural testosterone, but is a synthetic androgen that increases testosterone.... then why the hell do you say it has no anabolic properties?

Yes, I have and will continue to use it post cycle... I don't see why it wouldn't be extremely beneficial used throughout a cycle for those who can't afford Armidex (whch isn't too much more)... but it may bind to androgen receptors and ellicit a less anabolic effect than the other anabolics that one is taking while on a cycle.. but this is only theroy... hell, it may not be AR-mediated... but it is definately an antiaromitase.

I don't use it the week that I start clomid... I start it before then.. I even use this while using Armidex...

I keep all my gains post cycle.... but my post cycle "cycle" costs nearly as much as my cycle

Aromatase is what your body produces to break down testosterone into estrogens. Proviron is an anti-aromatase, so it increases the amount of free testosterone while at the same time reducing estrogen production.

Proviron and arimidex are both useful at the end of a cycle, when your natural test is low and aromatase levels are high, and during a cycle when androgens are being aromatized.
