Proviron should be used primarily with class II aromatizable AAS.

Okay, here's my reasoning. Proviron is technically an anabolic steroid, although its anabolism is exceptionally weak, if not non-existant. It binds well to the androgen receptors, like a class I AAS. Therefore, if you use it with another class I, like test, there will be competition at the androgen receptor, and for each site that proviron is binding at, there is a receptor site that the test isn't at. That's bad.

However, if you are using a class II aromatizable steroid, such as dianabol, proviron would be ideal, since there will be no competition between the d'bol and proviron. What do y'all think?

Very good thinking.But don't forget provirons purported effects of tying up sex binding globulin hormone(which renders a substantial amount of testosterone useless),so it may be beneficial on a test cycle as well.Good logic though.

Huck, I gotta admit, I didn't know about that property of proviron. Would it be possible to use a small amount of proviron during a cycle with test and get the benefits you're talking about. That is, a small enough dose that the competition at the AR site would not be significant?

Sure.From feedback of guys I know that have used the two together,a tab or two daily seemed to have an impact for them.

When you say "impact" you mean positive, right? I'm planning on running my first test cycle soon, 250mg Enanthate/Wk. I'm starting with a low dose to see how I react. Would you suggest I pop a tab a day during that cycle to see the benefits you're talking about?

You are forgetting that Proviron is enzymatically coverted to diol in muscle tissue making it's binding to the AR very poor, which is why it has non-existent anabolic effect.

Nimrod, you're right. I am forgetting that because I've never heard it. I have heard, repeatedly that there is competition at the AR receptor with proviron and other AAS. Can you back up what you're saying here? 'Cause it's contrary to the consensus I'm familiar with.

You are absoultly right, proviron has a strong affinity for the AR, that competes with other AAS. However its anabolic effect is so weak because of that diol conversion. That is why stacking it with Class I steroids can be problematic.
