Proviron is actually suppressive and is better suited for during the cycle...

Hey bro
The Terminator is right, its better to take proviron during cycles, I do that too, it helps to reduce water retention, therefore less bloat. Take proviron 25mg per day to combat bloat and 50mg for improved libido.

In most men, even 150 mg ED is not suppressive. However, it may inhibit HTPA recovery.
The suppressive effects are dose dependent. There have been a few studies that have looked at DHT gel or injection in men. Most of them, but not all show a suppression of T, E, FSH and LH.
Don't know why it might cause gyno. In boys it is used to treat it. The thought is that it suppresses endogenous T thus lowering E but maintains androgenicity and libido. Problem is, DHT has little effect on muscle and/or fat mass.

Proviron should not cause gyno, but prevent it, it is my understanding that proviron suppreses SHBG, therefore raising free testosterone. Proviron added to any stack seems to increase the effectiveness of the other steroids used.
