Protien and Gear

What is the best protien to intake? Are there protien pills? or are they in shake form only? I hear it is good to intake 2 times body weight when using deca/sust/dbol. Is this correct? thanks
 
amino acids in pill form are worthless IMO. Get some whey protein and drink it with some dextrose/malto pwo. all the rest of your protein should come from whole food. 2 grams per/lb is good but a little extra protein couldn't hurt especially if u r on the sauce. your question is noobish tho! :)

I agree with Krishna. I try and get at least half of my daily protein intake from actual food, and the other half from shakes. I take one shake mid morning (this is a big shake with lots of protein to get ready for my 4 PM workout) and the other before bed. My goal when on is to have about 1.5 -2 grams of protein per lb of body weight every day. I get about 125-150 from food and the rest from shakes.

Wayne..what spacific examples of food have the best protien content. I eat tuna alot, but thats only like 7 gr. of protien per serving. I just dont see how you get 200 grams of protien out of foods when there is only like at the most 15 grams of protien in like a steak. and thats just a guess, it could be less. Im a hardgainer and have a small stomach. I cant fit 10 pounds of food in my stomach............ thanks for helpin
 
Screw the pill forms of protein, your getting ripped-off. Use Whey powder right after your work-out, also it should be 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of (lean body mass), not your total body weight, if you are above 200 lbs. of lean body mass then you should bump it up to 2 grams of total protein. About one half food, the other powder. Cascine protein before bedtime, slow release.
 
what tuna are you eating?? mine has 14grams per serving. looking at my package right now i'm about to down. starkist flavor fresh pouch, hickory smoked flaor, yummy!!

Eh... chicken of the sea is roughly 33g of protein per can. Screw per serving, how many of us here actually eat what is considered "one serving" ? I know I usually eat 3-4x minimum of what is considered a serving. And those are small meals to me! Eat big, get huge.

As far as what to eat? Tuna and Chicken are going to be good sources of lean protein, beef is a little more fatty, but still a good source. Egg whites, dairy products(milk, cheese, yogurt, etc) are also good, but dairy is a little more fatty.

Eat plenty of carbs while on too. Try to split it up into 6 -8 meals. Like I shoot for around 65g protein in each meal, 6x a day. Maybe a little less if I'm drinking shakes in between, but I usually count my pre and post workout shakes as a "meal".

You eat big, train hard(with proper form! Can't stress that enough), you will get BIG. It will take time though. I've went from 138 to 202(halfway through cycle, so still growing) in 3 years time. This is only my second cycle. Didn't hit the first one up till I was 165(way too early, wish I would have known earlier to wait till I hit around 180+ since i'm 5'8). I didn't start eating big until a year ago. I could probably be 220 right now if I had my diet in better shape previously.

You start off your time here at EF asking for sources, discussing prices, CONSTANTLY starting threads in the wrong forum, and yet I still have offered up some advice to you to try and help not only in posts but in PMs since day 1. If you want help, do what everyone else here does and use the search button. Second, when someone offers you advice learn when someone is insulting you (like now for example) and when someone is busting your chops and still trying to help. You made a post about a week ago titled "No Forgivness?" I explained to you what the deal was and yet you continue down the same path. So, you want answers? Go find them yourself idiot.

first would be food like beef, chicken, fish, beans....protein shakes work well and are convenient.
 
It sounds to me like the juice is a little ahead of your game if your asking these questions. Unlike aas, information on protein and diet is very, very easy to find. As it looks right now you can't even spell protein! :p

If I were you I would go to www.fitday.com , it's free, and start using it. From there you'll see how far off you are with just your diet.

I second that man. You dont even know what food sources you can get protein from, i mean its right on the back of tuna can, and your using gear. Thats a complete waste. And get the chip off your shoulder these guys are trying to help you.

agreed let each on find the appororiatef forum if they dont get answer it's cause their questions are as idiotic here as they are now.. Bombs has been dropped if they continue, they wil be banned, then no worries or any of usl grow up guysl use your heads....
