Protein powder problem

I have this shitty problem... I bought two big containers of protein powder because they were cheap... I shouldn't have done that because it's crap!

If I mix about 40g of protein in 1L of milk using a blender I can still taste the powder... it just doesn't mix that well... then if I don't drink it right away... it gets really thick... it becomes some sort of pudding where you cal still taste bits and pieces of powder...

Now I have 5kg of powder and I don't know what to do with it!

Do you guys have any tricks or tips here....

Thanks!

What brand of protein are we talking about here?

This is not meant to be mean in any way, shape or form - but here's my general advice :

Just drink the damn protein!

OR - try other methods of eating it....like mixing it in with your oatmeal - or whipping up a scoop or two with some eggwhites and cooking it pancake style - be creative.

Next time ask for a sample serving before you buy 5kg of a powder!!

If it actually tastes bad and it's not just the inherent taste of whey protein powder, then use it to do some baking or something. Then you don't have to waste it and you can make some tasty, high-protein snacks.

Thanks for the replies... look.. it's not the taste I'm complaining about but rather the texture (don't know a better word in English)... it doesn't dissolve completely into the milk...

I'll try to do some baking with it to see what it does...

hmmmzz sounds like he dint buy whey but mayb casein or egg or even SOY:eek2:. Many of these powders especially then cheaper ones read 5 kgs arent instantized thus making them harder to mix. My advice is to just add a very low quantitie of milk thus you get a thick paste and just eat this with a spoon. And if its soy,, give it to mums :D
