Protein breakdown

When I wake up a routine of mine is to make a pot of black silk coffee an add 16 oz of it to two scoops of protein powder.

What I want to know: will protein break down under the heat stress of fresh coffee?

nah man i think you'll be fine; you'd have to heat that to a much hotter temperature to denature the protein to such a degree
