Proscar Vs Propecia!

Bro's i just want to know If Proscar has the same ingredient as Propecia and if they have the same effect!!!

as you know Propecia comes in 1mg per tab
Proscar comes in 5mg per tab

Can be a good idea to cut the proscar in 5 pieces ??? I can save a lot of money in this way dudes!!

Proscar(5mg) and propecia(1mg), are indeed the same drug....finasteride.

Proscar is easily cut into halfs or quarters with a razor blade or pill cutter. On a side note....most drug plans will not cover propecia or other cosmetic drugs, but will cover proscar since its marketed as a prostate drug. Hope this helps

I usually use a pill splitter to cut up my proscar, but when one isn't handy, I simply nibble off a piece.
