Proscar vs Propecia

Hey bros,


Which of these 2 medications is the best option for hair loss?
I have done 2 cycles in the past and I lose hair like crazy, I never took any of this two products and they both have good reviews, so I wanted to hear some more opinions about them!

Proscar and Propecia is the exact same thing. It's the same drug, just different brand names. Propecia comes in 1mg tablets where as proscar comes in 5mg tablets. That's the only difference.

I have researched hair loss from steroids extensively. Using any steroid will speed up hair loss. It's inevitable. How much it speeds it up and how fast you loose your hair is dosage dependant and largely based on your genetics.


The best thing you can do for hair loss prevention is:
1. supplement with finasteride/proscar/propecia at 1mg/day
2. Daily use of N2shampoo
3. Daily use of a rogaine (minoxidil) spray

Personally, I would recommend two products: N2Shampoo, and Vichy decros neogenic.

My wife used to lose hair really badly due to thyroid issues, and these two products made a huge difference for her. She stopped losing hair, and new hair started growing really well. Sincerely, I was very sceptical about these products in the beginning, but then I saw their amazing results, and her hair got so much better.

Hair loss is just part of using steroids. If will be worse for those prone to MPB but will speed it up regardless. I would just go with a natural thickening shampoo and not for DHT blockers. I tried finasteride and didn't care for the side effects.
