I used propecia for a year and had to stop due to libido issues. I also did notice that my body was becoming a little more soft that normal. Look, im no doctor, but DHT is a good thing when it comes to regulating estrogen levels and building lean muscle. I'm sure I will go bald in 10+ years, but I like being a horny fucker with a 6 pack. Plus, I dont look bad with a buzzed head! LOL!

Estrogen also plays a very important role in building muscle, thats why guys who try to run Estrogen blockers the whole cycle limit gains. Ive got the same if not better abs since starting Proscar in college. Im defiantly not a doc either but I have a hard time believing 1 or 2 mg of a DHT inhibitor is gonna turn somebody into a banana.
As far as sex drive goes, no arguments on that one, it will lower your sex drive. I lost a little bit off my drive since taking Proscar but thats a good thing for me, thinking with my dick all the time gets you into trouble and makes me lose focus of my goals.

DHT management is an interesting subject.

It appears that running 1mg ED Propecia along with .5mg EOD Arimidex while on a Testosterone Cypionate only cycle was not a good idea for me.

I developed minor gyno symptoms on only 400mg Test per week and .5 EOD Arimidex. According to bros on this forum, it had to be the propecia causing this.

Lowering your sex drive may seem OK when young (although I think that's a bad idea) it will definitely hurt you when you're older.

yea, i guess everyone is different, but im done with dht blockers for now.

I have been on avodart for 5 years non-stop; hair is too important to me, but it is what it is. No issues at all for me, including sex drive... still fcuk like a monkey.

What do you guys think of Saw palmetto for preventing the conversion of test to DHT, with some Stinging Nettle for blocking 5-ar? You guys think it is as effective as prescription Propecia? I've heard many cases of it being as effective, but still have some doubts since I haven't heard any of you guys talk about them.

You might try Pregnenolone, I saw reduced shedding and increased feelings of well being.
