proscar and deca

okay a couple of questions:
I will be using proscar for prostate health from now on with my test cycles. What dosage should I be using, the pills are 5 mg each I was thinking of just taking 2.5 mg a day. and I have heard things that you either should not use proscar with deca or something to that affect is there a contraindiction between the two or was it something else. I will be throwing deca in, in about 20 weeks should I stop the proscar when I am on deca or should I just keep taking it for my test.

I'd like to know more here to. warbirdsw6 and gsxr1000 posted some info on the below thread on proscar. Although they were suggesting dosages for hairloss, I'm curious on this combined with prostate protection. Warbird, gsxr, others, thoughts on dosages necessary for hairloss & prostate protection? Is 1.25mg ED all that is necessary? Propecia I think is 1mg tabs, is the recommended dose on Propecia 1 tab per day?
