Pros and Cons of being single.

Girl at work just asked me this question and I thought I would bring it 2 my guys and gals and see if we could come up with more than i had.


Pros.
No one to answer to when you have been out all night
No commitment
Random pieces of ass
Save ALOT of money "espically if you are a guy " hehe.

Cons.
Steady piece of ass
I guess it gives you someone 2 talk 2.

I am not a fan of relationships anyway who wants 2 help me out here???

I should rephrase this thread it should be the pros and cons of being in a relationship opposed 2 being single. I thought of the single ones my cons were for the relationship ones. There at least I don't look like such a jackass now heheh.

You get to be a slut
You get to fuck as many hot sluts as you can get your hands on
Freedom to do whatever the fuck you want
Party every weekend
Special bonding with friends



Con's
You don't have someone that loves you.
Steady piece of ass
No one there when you need them the most
No one to support you
You have to stay in almost every weekend
You lose touch with your good friends

Of being single:

Pros:
Random piece of ass (as you already stated)
NO committment
You don't have to worry about someone freakin' out on you because you didnt' tell them where you were, who you were with, what you did with them, etc.
You can have all of the 'guys/girls night out' that you please.

Cons:
With the random sex, you will probably risk catching every funk under the sun....(unless you are careful, but sometimes that doesn't even stop it from getting you)
You miss having a wonderful relationship with a great guy/girl.
You will probably spend all your cash buying drinks for random women instead of for a girl you care about...

Of being in a relationship:

Pros:
You can have a best friend.
You get all the sex you want (this varies, of course)
You pretty much always have a date for at least one night of the weekend.
You know that she/he is disease free (unless they either lied or screwed around on you)
You have someone who you care for more than life itself, and who you would do anything for.
I can think of more, but don't want to....

Cons:
You have someone to 'report' to...if they are anal about that, of course.
You only get the same 'piece of ass' all the time.
You take a major risk in getting your heart broken, but what is life without risks, hmmmm?

Great responses. I don't have all the relationship ones down but the single I have pretty well down since I am always single =p. Last relationship was like some fatal attraction shit don't need that anymore.

pros:

save money

get to be yourself instead of a member of a relationship

love is hell when it doesn't work out (it usually doesn't). it rips you in half. being single avoids that.



cons:

biological urges to have a significant other go unfulfilled

Well, in theory, a single person can have lots of sex with random people. But how often does it work out that way? It doesn't for me anyway.

Times like now, when I am single, I want to have a girlfriend because of all the great things about having someone that cares about you. But as soon as I get one, I realize I still want to party and get some random ass. I've got the same syndrome as Sassy.

Pro's and cons of being single...

Pro:You can go out with, fuck and flirt with whomever you want
Con: It gets old after a while cause you don't get to know the real person or give em a chance.

Pro: You can eat supper when you want and have your fave meal 5 times a week.
Con: You eat alone most nights and there is no fun in cooking alone

Pro: You can stay out all night and not have to answer to anyone for it
Con: You have nobody who cares or worries about you and staying out all night all the time can become a vicious circle if not careful

Pro: You can work 100 hours a week and make yourself a big success without getting nagged about being at work all the time
Con: success is no fun if you can't share it with someone you love

Pro: To repeat you can fuck or date whoever you want
Con: even the biggest studs find themselves alone with their hands before bed many nights a week

Pro: You don't have to worry about getting your heart broken
Con: Makes you a chicken shit in the fact that you can't face all that life has to offer, good and bad. basically you never develop the proper coping skills that help you deal with all aspects of life.

Pro: it's cheaper because you arent spending alot of money doing all kinds of stuff with your mate
Con: Who are you kidding. Being single costs twice as much as you tend to go out more and sepnd more money entertaining yourself to keep from being lonely

Don't get me wrong, being single has been great but lately I have been honest with myself and if I had the chance I would trade my single life in 2 seconds for someone special in a mutual loving relationship.

But that is a long way off.
