Proportioned Arm/Calf Size

You guys are always saying that biceps and calves should be the same size. Here's my issue that has occurred to me in the last couple weeks.
We all measure arms bent and flexed. So, My arms measure about 16 1/4 to 16 1/2 flexed cold. My calves measure 14 1/4 so you guys would say my calves are too small. While I don't completely disagree.....my arms measure about 14 1/2 inches normal, not flexed. So, when I'm walking around on the street they look almost the same size so I would think this looks proportioned and normal.
If I walked around with my Bi's pumped and flexed it may look a little odd! :)
Any thoughts?

There's no comparision or ratio between arms and calves, calf size is rated in relation with thigh size, I don't know the exact numbers for it though.

There are some guides for classic bodybuilder proportions that state that calves, biceps, and neck should all be the same circumference. But as you pointed out, bis get bigger when flexed while calves don't. So it doesn't make a lot of sense.

If you think you look in proportion top to bottom then why worry about it. If you think you'd look better with bigger calves, start jumping rope for your cardio and they will grow in a hurry.

what an interesting concept. i like the idea of things being a ratio of one thing to another if anything it gives a guide line of what needs work. its interesting that its all in relationship to the wrist size.. which makes sense because everyones wrists are of different size

Yup I have heard this also but I dont really think it applies unless your planning on stepping on stage. I mean what person is going to see you on the street and say "Hey your arms are huge but your not proportionate to your calves! I'd just be like Dude! "Your arms are Huge!" nuff said.
