For the guys on here that take propecia what is the difference betwen the 1mg propecia tab and the 5mg proscar tab? Other then the obvious one is 1mg other 5mg. Are they the same product just one has more or what?

the 1mg dose of finasteride(Propecia) is indicated for treatment of male pattern baldness...


the 5mg dose of finasteride(Proscar) is indicated for the treatment of an enlarged prostate(BPH).

Proscar is less expensive and is the same ingredient except it's 5mg.
