Propecia- only when on or all year?

For those that use propecia to counter DHT in the scalp when on androgens, do you only use propecia when on or do you use it all year round?

Do you need to use propecia for a while before a cycle for it to be effective?

Year round, but I got nasty sides with it so I stick to topicals now...

I am taking it year round bro and I have no sides but everyone differs. Better safe than sorry. If you dont have any hair loss as it is though I would say that you are safe taking it only during cycles. there should be no need to take it before the begining of a cycle it will bloch dht immediately , it can take up to several months to notice any hair regrowth though if u r taking it for that reason.
