With idiots like McKinnon ruining the concept of racism as some stupid gimmick -- here's an example of how devastating racism can be against someone (black). Watch the video. Almost brings you to tears.
And it's in Canada. Where Canadians are in denial about everything.

Jail Guard In Tears After Racist Threats
Corrections work is undeniably stressful and often dangerous. Every day employees at such institutions find themselves in close proximity to some of society’s most undesirable members.
David Mitchell has worked in the field for 19 years, but it wasn’t hardcore criminals who drove him to tears. His fellow colleagues are accused of that.
Mitchell is one of many black and Asian prison guards who claim they were sent disturbing and threatening letters containing racist screeds and malicious missives.
Mitchell, who rose in the ranks to Deputy Superintendent of Ontario Correctional Services over the years, was shattered by the experience.
“As a peace officer, nothing in my training, my life's experience could have prepared me for the day that my life and the lives of others would be threatened simply because we were black,” he revealed, breaking down in tears.
“I will never forget January 19th, 2006, at exactly 14:50. I remember that time and that date. I remember where I was, who I was with.
"January 19th, 2006 is the day that I was standing beside a friend at work and opened a racist threat letter.”
Mitchell and others say the letters contain threats on their lives and may have come from people within the corrections system.
He read the following portion on Thursday.
“"Mother f****r, go back to your holes or else you will be constantly harassed, persecuted or killed.
"As for you, David Mitchell, scumbag, you will get exactly what you are looking for, and when it hits you, you will not even realize it because, guess what? You will be a dead mother f****r."
Corrections Minister Monte Kwinter insists the allegations are being investigated.
“This particular incident is totally, totally unacceptable,” Kwinter responded. “You know, we have a senior member of the correctional service who has been a target, along with others, and we have called in the police and we've called in a committee from the ministry (to investigate.)”
But those on the wrong end of the poison pen letters don’t believe it. They allege neither the ministry nor Toronto Police have taken any significant action or discipline in the 15 months since the threats began.
Mitchell believes changes to hiring practices for corrections guards and peace officers should be implemented.
“Right now I can tell you that the screening with respect to tolerance for racism and diversity is not there.”
