Do you believe the war on Terrorism is getting us anywhere? Have we accomplished anything good or bad since the attacks on September 11th? Why is there very little talk of Osama bin Laden's whereabouts?

I keep waiting for the second coming of McCarthyism in America with "communist" replaced with "terrorist." However it seems the population in general is what? Apathetic, self-centered? Not that McCarthyism is a good thing, but I'm amazed at the lack of knowledge and concern out there regarding the international situation.
