how long does it last in a fridge. I bought 2 pounds last saturday and still have some left. I have a good fridge with thermo control in the lower compartment (my cuccs just had frost on them). How long is it good for. A few more days or what

If it smells fine and isn't slimy, then it should be fine. Most processed meat gets a slimy, slippery feel when it starts to go bad. Plus, of course, it smells bad.
