Guys,
Every time I set up a account being it Hushmail, Cycer-rights, whatever secure mailing server, I always have had problems with retrieving all my mail from them. I am thinking it has to be my computer, since I have no idea what could be wrong, if anything at all. I do also have dial-up, and my computer is sometimes slow, mind you. But with that said,... I never had experienced any mail problems before or slowness that would drive me nuts until I set up sercure email accounts w/ Hush/Cyber. Now this is on the Hush/ Cyber mail serve(s) I mean, when I say slow,... everything else seems almost normal on my computer functioning. Like I said, I never had any problems before, and this is starting to get on my nerves, as I am loosing a lot of my mail on Hush due to it just wont open up.
This is what is happening....
I log onto Hush account-
I go to check my mail-
I click on the mail itself, or sender's name--
*I cross my fingers--
Some mail opens, some does not--
The mail that does not is random, it may or may not have attachments, or may or may not be encrypted for whatever reason... Regardless other mail opens just fine with having these factors.
I sit and wait on the mail that does not seem to open up...
I wait...
and wait.....
and wait some more....
Finally I get so fed up I just say "screw it." The only thing that leads me to believe it may still open up is the cursor icon is still in the "thinking" mode all the while. Also, my regular mail accounts that are not "secure" ones don't open up either afterwards,...I have been waiting after Hush. Actually nothing does, no websites or whatever. I have to restart my whole comp. I thought it a virus, but I had my whole computer checked and I am fine... So It is aggrivating. Now,... I have let it sit for overnight and still my mail accounts (Hush) did not open! I am not great with computers, still have a great deal to learn. I guess at best I would be considered "average"...so any help is really appreciated.
