As a Marine I have never said we one a battle that we didn't. So I'm sorry that's you feel about Marines. But its definitely not the Marine corps style.

BTW, I assumed you would have mentioned WWI and the Argonne Forest; the only time I can think of where the marines faced a first world military; even though they were starving and undersupplied and the US Army lead that attack as well.

Indeed, if we disagree and one party threatens violence the debate is over. It's important to recognize that I don't blame semper for his desire to use violence as a first resort to solving problems and implying he wants to hurt me. He may have been raised in an authoritarian family and he was definitely indoctrinated with "might is right" in the corps. You don't automatically blame an abused person for acting out, you hold the abuser responsible always but the abused is acting in a way you would expect based on the abuse.
