check your printer programs
Often with your printer there will be a program to do a "deep clean" of the printer head. Check under the options or look for a printer icon and click that. If the cartarage has sat for over a year this will not help. You need to take the entire power head out and soak it in rubbing alchol. Not the cartarage but the power head that the cartarage goes into. Hope this helps. I know my spelling sucks. Worse case is you have to go buy a new power head ($50+)
