Is it legal to buy Paxil over the counter in London? I cant find anything on having to have a prescrition for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't think so, but it's been a while since I've been in the UK.

That's a bad move in my opinion. You develop a dependence on that stuff easily. I've been on SSRIs for a long time and I've quit several times only to go back on them. When I've quit, I had to taper down and I got sick as hell while doing it. The nausea I experienced from quitting paxil was almost equal to opiate withdrawal (I was once addicted to hydrocodone)
