Preloading needles

Is there a problem with preloading needles in advance. Is 2 weeks out too far, or is there a limit as to how far out?

Thanks...Jumpman;)

I'm wondering about this myself. I'm going on vacation if a couple of weeks and will need 2 injections while there. I was thinking about preloading 2 syringes as apposed to bringing the bottles with me. My main concern would be sterility. Anyone have an answer for this one?

Pre-loading is great.....if your not travelling. If your at home, pre-loading saves time. Who likes opening those damn amps everytime, or drawing up everytime. I usually just pre-load for the cycle and am good to go.

Sust 250 redi-jects come pre-loaded. There is no problem whatsoever with pre-loading syringes. It's not like the compound loses it's potency by pre-loading. GH and HCG is another story.

Latamier has it right - as long as they are sterile, they can be preloaded. I would not pre-load them unless I was to be gone on a trip. Remember - STERILE is the key word here. Nothing touches the needle, except the rubber vial stopper (after wiped with alcohol. Be careful putting caps back on needles. If in doubt, trash it.

I like this tip that someone posted here a while ago—I can’t remember who.

Draw an extra ½ cc of air into the syringe. Then store the filled syringes with the needle pointed down—that way the ‘juice’ doesn’t sit against the rubber plunger. Makes sense to me so that’s what I do.

I've heard that the rubber stopper can degrade over time, but I have no idea how much time or if its true. I always load a weeks worth at a time

i pre-load my HCG and put it in the fridge.......is that wrong?

HCG is a peptide hormone, so putting it in the fridge would be a good idea if you take it out of its amp. Even if it's in the amp, refrigeration is a good policy if you're going to be using it in the distant future.

Cold shouldn't harm it, but if any protein crystals start to form (I'd bet they won't, since proteins are inherently difficult to crystallize), just let it warm up to room temperature. DO NOT HEAT TO REDISSOLVE! If you heat it, you'll denature your gonadotropin.
