prednisone

I just got back from the Dr. who prescribed me low doses of prednisone for ten days for complications in my ear. I also was supposed to begin my cycle today, starting with suspension and EQ. Will the ten days of prednisone have a negative effect on the start of my cycle? Should I wait another week to start? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have never been on prednisone while on a cycle, but I have trained through use of pretty large doses (ie 80mg day) for months on end. Thats a pretty significant dose and I suffered many sides like headaches, water retention, impared immune system etc etc. It just plain sucked and I was lucky to keep any gains I had.

I would think that perdnisone for 10 days and at low dose it should not adversely affect you too much so it probably would not matter one way or the other. With my experience with it however, I would put my cycle off till the course of pred was over....but thats just me.

I did a search for you... I remember that I already red a post about it. I used to take prednisone pretty often for my asthma .

Many doctors who prescribe Cartisone and other Catabolic hormones they usually prescribe Anabolic Steroids for preventing muscle loss & catabolism resulting from using Catabolic-hormones as prednisone

using prednisone during a steroid cycle will be a good idea, because Anabolic Steroids will decrease the catabolic effects from prednisone, while, if you used prednisone alone without Steroids then you'll gonna loss a plenty of muscle mass
