Is it safe to take prednisone and AS or will if fuck your body up?

It is safe enough though corticosteroids are catabolic and you must not take them longer than prescribed using either a high dose for about 5 days or if you go longer you must do a taper, ask your doc. I have taken several courses over the past 2 years due to bad inflammation and the stuff is amazing for me though I ended up getting Depo Medrol injection right into the shoulder finally. Depo Medrol is also available in an oral and it is essentially the same as Prednisone but much stronger on a milligram per milligram basis.

One other thing, AASs and corticosteroids together can give you markedly increased water retention so watch for that.

Not only the water retention, but monitor your blood sugar while on Prednisone, even if for only 5 days, It will make it SKYROCKET

What about all the associated side effects such as the estrogen and viralization factors? When taking it did you have any side effects?

Because the course should be so short it won't be an issue. People who have lupus for example will have more of the long term effects but remember prednisone is a cortico-steroid, produced in the adrenal glands and it is not an anabolic steroid.
