I had undesirable cholesterol levels on last blood test. I keep seeing more and more how certain drugs affect it. It was news to me that arimidex causes cholesterol fluctuations. What drugs should I avoid and what is a comprehensive list of ancillarys that help keep it inline while on?

I believe Clomid and Nolvadex help. You see your cholesterol gets worse when estrogen drops too low. If I understand corrrectly, Clomid and Nolva fool the liver into a healthier cholesterol metabolism.

Well pretty much most AS will negatively influence your cholesterol levels, most notibly lowering your HDL. I've heard also that winny is bad for that.

Guggulsterones suppossedley help support a healthy cholesterol levels and help increase HDL.

Droid,
What kind of fluctuations does the arimidex cause to the LDL/HDL levels? Does it raise the LDL? or does it just lower the HDL?

Can clomid or Nov negatively affect the LDL or HDL levels?

need to know!

Thanks

Daling that is what I am trying to find out. I was hoping this would turn into a small faq and the vets and mods would chime in.
