Pre Workout??????

Hi, just wondering if anyone could help me....

If I am trying to shed BF - is it a good idea to weight train on an empty stomach??? What I do now is take an ECA, with coffee and a banana about 30min. later - then go work out.

I know about the cardio on an empty stomach but wasn't sure about weights as well. Is this a good idea??????

Personally, I wouldn't train weights on an empty stomach unless it's first thing in the morning.

I'd make sure you had some fuel in your body (clean stuff like clean carbs and such) if your lifting anytime from 10:00 am (assuming you get up at a regular time) til evening.
 
I read somewhere (can't remember where), that if you lift on an empty stomach that more GH is released into the body. Can someone validate this?
