Pre-Workout Energy Supplement?

But what do you usually take pre-workout for energy. Obviously a large meal with a lot of carbohydrates and protein about an hour before, but do you take any supplements for energy?

I'm looking into something along the lines of caffeine, and it's effects. I'm using creatine, so I don't want to take anything with caffeine as that would negate the purpose of creatine?

So, which supplements do you take 10-15 minutes before a workout. What effects do they have? Are they safe to take 3-4 times a week.

I would say it is ok to mix the caffeine with the creatine. I would take the creatine with the meal with carbs and protein and closer to the workout the caffeine.
Try some ECA.
I am considering trying some powerdrive by biotest, but i am out of money right now, i think it might have some interesting effect.
