But what do you usually take pre-workout for energy. Obviously a large meal with a lot of carbohydrates and protein about an hour before, but do you take any supplements for energy?
I'm looking into something along the lines of caffeine, and it's effects. I'm using creatine, so I don't want to take anything with caffeine as that would negate the purpose of creatine? Or does it matter?
So, which supplements do you take 10-15 minutes before a workout. What effects do they have? Are they safe to take 3-4 times a week.
