Pre-Workout Energy Supplement?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to be posting on.

But what do you usually take pre-workout for energy. Obviously a large meal with a lot of carbohydrates and protein about an hour before, but do you take any supplements for energy?

I'm looking into something along the lines of caffeine, and it's effects. I'm using creatine, so I don't want to take anything with caffeine as that would negate the purpose of creatine?

So, which supplements do you take 10-15 minutes before a workout. What effects do they have? Are they safe to take 3-4 times a week.

Try a B12 shot with cocaine in it. That really gets me fired up in the weight room.

JOKING, Don't try that.

I just use Xenadrine. It gives me a lot of endurance and energy.
It has caffeine and ephedrine.
 
I haven't heard the 'creatine and caffeine/eph counteracting each other' comment for a long time.

What was the final axiom of belief there?
