I have this posted in the diet section, and no response. I need some help.

What's up people. I am doing a Muscle and Fitness challenge for loosing weight and building muscle. I need help with my pre/post workout meals. I know everyone wants to say protein shakes. I can not have them, vary sensitive to dairy. I also don't want to use soy. I have heard it can change to estrogen. If I am wrong please let me know with data to back it up. This morning I went to gym after eating breakfast. This is what I had

1 cup oatmeal
1 apple
3 whites and 2 eggs

I felt like crap trying to workout. I felt full. I normally workout at night which I feel great and try not to eat much before the workout. Give me some options. Keep in mind I can not have dairy. Thanks

Whey protein shake with water - milk combats the whey absorption anyway so its better with water.
Soy sucks bro - I have an iron stomach but cant handle that shit. You will definately have no problem with whey+water. Also, buy a hand-blender.

Post workout - if your gonna eat whole foods double the eggs. Oatmeal is a great carb source with Low GI - its also good blended in a whey/ water shake.

Personally, If im not on a cutting diet, my favourite PWO meal is 50gwhey+water+oatmeal+Banana+frozen berries blended. Add 10mg BCAA'a and 10mg Glutamine and you are rocking. Also add dextrose instead of fruit to create an insulin spike which will rapidly increase protein absorption.

how long after you ate did you wait before you trained?

Is it the lactose you don't like about whey protein (which would be my guess to why you can't have it because of dairy). Well whey protein concentrate has lactose in it. But whey protein isolate should be lactose free. At least on the kinds I've had. I don't buy that BS from GNC. You know, the protein blended with 1000 other things. I just buy straight WPI. I should say its virtually fat and lactose free (if any, its very, very little and you probably would not feel any effect). I have IBS, so I stay away from dairy too because it bothers me. I try to anyway. I drink whey protein isolate shakes with soy milk and have absolutely no problems. Love it.

shitty

Dude I only have time to wake up go to gym, because I have to get to work right after. So I can't eat and then wait a few hours.

It does not seem to be just lactose intollerant. I will eat stuff that says it has no lactose but it still hurts my stomach. I try to avoid all milk stuff period. Anybody know of a good egg protein.
