Pre/Post workout meal

What don you guys eat post and pre workout? I usually have protein shake pre workout and oats, fruit and shake post workout. Usually throw my fruit into my protein shake. I am starting my cut cycle in two weeks (gained 25 lbs on this cycle - wow!) but now need to lose a good 15. What is good for getting rid of the water weight?

Pre workout i usually have a Chicken Breast, Rice, and a Vegtable. Post workout i will have a Methoxy-meal and an apple or Orange.

Pre/During workout: 26g whey isolate, 5g glutamine peptide, 5g BCAA

Post workout: 26g whey isolate, 5g glutamine peptide, 5g BCAA, 50g dextrose/maltodextrin

Fructose(the sugar found in fruit) is less than ideal as a pre/post workout carb.

dextrose/maltodextrin

where do u get these? or what foods are they contained in?
also why is it bad to have fruit post w/out if it has a high gi...

in regards to pre w/out, should you have carbs in the pro shake if working out first thing in the morning and trying to cut?

Preworkout: either a small meal 1 hour before or 1cup milk w/ whey, BCAA's, fiber and flax 1 Tablespoon.

Postworkout: 30g whey w/ 50g dextrose and 1 hour later another 30g of whey.

immediately following my workout i drink a Mass Recovery drink. 380 calories, 30g of whey, 65g of carbs. What are people's opinions on this drink?

Also about 2 hours later (now 2am, i workout at night) I try to eat a decent meal before I go to bed. Is it bad to be eating this late even though you should eat a meal 2 hours post workout?

is it necessary to have

BCAA, 50g, and l-glutimine in post workout shakes...? i currently take l-glutimine..should i had the bcaa?

i was told carbs before / protein after
is this not right?
cos your all saying protein for both

using branched chain amino acids (BCAA's) will give extra energy for workouts (they are metabolized directly by muslce tissue) and help fight muscle catabolism during workouts. this is why you see people taking whey prior to training. whey is high in BCAA's

Mass Rx

Killabeez- I think the mass rx is a good drink. It is maltodextrin and whey isolate. Can't go wrong with those two.

My preworkout meal is 40 grams whey, a cup oatmeal, and a tblspn. natural p-nut butter. Post I use 80 g dextrose 40 g whey.

Pl8s

Two hours pre-workout, 1 cup oatmeal and 45g milk protein isolate protein powder.

During workout, sip on drink with 40g dextrose, 18g hydro whey, 5g BCAA's, 5g creatine and 5g Glutamine peptides.

Post workout, 80g dextrose, 36g Hydro whey, 5g BCAA's, 5g creatine and 5g Glutamine peptides.

One hour later I have pasta and two chicken breasts.
