pre-digested protein

"Predigested" is simply another way of saying that the protein in question has been hydrolyzed with special enzymes....

Hydrolyzation (in very simple terms) is a process whereby these digestive enzymes essentially "break" the amino acid chains of the protein down into smaller chains

....the theory being that these smaller chains are more readily absorbed by the body....

BTW whey is already easily and quickly absorbed/digested
 
So do you think that I could use pre-digested protein instead of whey for my daily protein intake? Would I get the same effect?
 
You should try to get most of your protein from whole food sources - but as far as supplementation with a powder is concerned - the hydrolyzed whey (predigested) is perfectly fine.

Besides, most powders generally contain a protein blend which includes hydrolyzed whey...

It's not a big deal....as long as this is not your solitary source of protein....
