pr on incline db press

for the first time ever i pushed 80's, i started at 65 for warmup. then went to 75 and did 2 sets easy. took the 80's and got 8 easy reps. next chest day, im gonna try 3 full sets of 80. by the end of the year i wanna be pushin 100's for 3 sets of 8.

keep at it!!!!! good work, but imagine how much more satisfyed you will be when you can press the 100lb dumbells.

congrats!

100s are a very important 'milestone" lift.

In the heyday of Muscle Beach back in the '30s and '40s the definition of a guy who was "strong" was a guy who could use 100s for the incline dumbell bench.

Few could in the era of no juice.

thx guys. i definately know 100's are a milestone, thats why its my main goal right now. once i hit that, ill try to bench 275 for a 1rm.

Great Job, It's nice to see that not every one here can already push the 100's. I'm about where your at, can get 80's 8 times fresh. My Incline barbell press sucks though. Only 225. I don't always have a spotter so I stick mainly with the dumbbells. Keep pushin.

I would think that if you could do 100 incline dbs then you should be able to do 225 incline bb. Hopefully I'll find out by, say, December or January?
