Surprising Back Workout.....

15 min. high intensity, max climb.....clocked 1.57 miles

CHIN-UPS
2 X 12

This is where my PR comes in....I have never attempted chins with weight strapped on in my life.....I workout in a very nice gym and I have come to the place where I knew I needed to strap on some weight to continue to grow and get stronger.....but, you hate to strap 10 lbs. to you...LOL....I was unsure what I could do...so I went cautiously and here is what I got......

1 X 10 w/25 lbs.
1 X 8 w/35 lbs.
2 X 6 w/45 lbs.

I totally surprised myself and it gave me a tremendous boost...

Lat Pulls
3 X 8
Lat Pulls (Behind Neck)
4 X 5

Cable Rows
5 X 5

Straight Arm Lat Pulls
2 X 10

Pullovers
10, 8, 6, 6

ABS - 15 mins. various excercises

On the way out of the gym to test how well I have blasted my Back I cannot resist seeing how many Chins I can do........tonight....2 X 8

I cannot wait to see how I will progress and grow from adding weight to the Chin-Ups....
 
awesome man.... but i would watch out for the Behind the Neck Pulldowns...I feel they put too much stress on my shoulders. Keep it up!

Sweed you are correct...I do feel a twinge in my shoulder when going behind the neck.....I am a RSIV..(Recovering Shoulder Injury Victim)....

The shoulder injury originated from weighted dips....which I do not do anymore...I have been forced to replace weighted dips with the hammer dips...
 
Nice.

Also note that most of those exercises if not all hit your biceps pretty hard, too.
