From scanning past posts I have become confused over whether the use of protein powder (whey) will throw my out of ketosis. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?
Yes and No...Using whey by itself will throw you out of ketosis, but if you add tbsp. flaxseed oil or any other healthy fat then you'll will NOT be thrown out of a ketonic state (as long as the protein powder is low in carbs, no more then 3 carbs per serving)
