Posts used to mean something...

Now they're just a joke, the average words per post on EF has gone from 24.2 to 4 and a half in the past year. Where there used to be thought there is now only crap + alt-s, including me.

The only thing holding our lives together is that karma is still meaningful and significant, at least nobody can deny that. I am serious!

Bran, how are my stats looking in terms of words/post and karma earned/post
very good because of your contributions in the diet forum. there are single posts by you with over 500 words. you are not in danger there. your karma earned per post is at a 10:1 ratio, which used to be the hallmark ratio of a good ho, however now that ratio has been shot to all hell by the new league of superhos brought about by the karma store & karma bookie forum

i think the longer you are here the less interesting the same topics are...

what we need is some real news to talk about...

what we really need is this stat - posts per hour for time spent online at ef
considering all the hrs im on here per day i may only avg 3 posts an hour
this would be pretty low imo
you get a lot of peeps that may spend an hour on here but bust out 15 posts, those are the dirty nasty hos we need to keep our eye on

I'll not post much and do more reading for a week or two and then post a ton in a weekend. It really depends on my schedule. :)

Yet again, I'm way ahead of the curve. It's been a while since I've been posting "ATDQ!" after each post becaue I know people just reply with a 2 word response and forget about the topic at hand. You gotta treat them like little kids and tell them to "Answer!" or they'll forget.

When the topics have some kind of question or theory behind them, it's cool, because I can get into giving longer and more detailed replies with usefull information. I also like the positive feedback I get from such posts because I do like to help people with my seemingly endless knowledge of certain subjects. And the things I don't know, I just make up and pretend I know what I'm talking about. <--- lol jk about that part.

Having said that, this is a chat board and not a Q&A forum or troubleshooting etc... but it does double as one sometimes. I DO appreciate some thread that seem to be serious and more detailed factual discussion about certain topics. Few and far between, but again, this is a chat board.

I usually have to shorten my posts b/c they used to be too long explaining both sides of the issue and then where that leads, prompting many karma messages saying they think I must be on speed(which is far from the truth). As far as karma, Ive donated it all away a few times, I was at zero not more than a month ago, just holding to it this month b/c of karma poker, have to have something to play with, prolly end up losing it to hammy anyways, he's going to be a karmic God when that opens up. Although the only tourney I played heads up against him, I beat him, but he's the best in the poker room that Ive seen.

yeah like when britney and kevin have their baby. this place will be jumpin

Is it the quality of the posts or the quality of the threads that have gone down hill?

I'm not giving an opinion (haven't been around long enough and I don't create threads in C&C so, who am I to judge), just asking question.
